Brexit! What Can I Do?

EU Welcome invites you to find out more about what you can do now in light of Brexit. We will be joined by Steve Simpkins and Bartosz Maj from http://simpkinsand.co.uk/ a local law firm.
They will present an overview of the current situation including Permanent Residence Certificates and British Citizenship and what services they can offer in this regard.
They will also share what other services they can provide for EU citizens in particular in relation to legal services related to Personal Injury, Clinical Negligence, Commercial and Contract Law as well as business and employment law services, giving information and examples of typical cases
This will take place at 7.00 pm on Wednesday 21st June at St Edmund’s Hall, Rockstone Place so15 2eq
The event is free and all are welcome.
Spaces are limited so please book your place by emailing info@euwelcome.org or here https://www.facebook.com/events/1560646233967573/?acontext=%7B%22ref%22%3A%2223%22%2C%22action_history%22%3A%22null%22%7D

Before then on 8 June we are hosting a gathering for counsellors, psychologists and anyone else interested in mental health issues from EU countries. This is not so much a meeting, it’s more a chat and a chance to share together. We know some of our clients at EU Welcome are very anxious in light of the uncertainty regarding Brexit.
We also know that there are special stresses and strains that ‘migrants’ go through.
So we thought it might be good to meet up and chat with counsellors, psychologists and others interested in promoting mental health.
There is no agenda. So come if you can, buy yourself a coffee and let’s see what happens!
The result might be nothing….but you never know! Dave could, of course, end up drinking coffee alone!   This will take place at 6.00 pm on 8 June  at Mettricks Guildhall, 1 Guildhall Square so147du

Finally we welcome back Adriana this month after her time of maternity leave!  We also want to thank Piotr for his great work over the past nine months.  He still plans to be part of EU Welcome as a volunteer!

Financially EU Welcome needs to look for funding.  We are £20K short for the coming year!  Every little helps! http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/charity-web/charity/finalCharityHomepage.action?uniqueVmgCharityUrl=EUWelcome
