Dealing with an upset mother who felt that her son was not receiving the correct advice from his then solicitors following a motor accident where three passengers were killed. The son had been advised to accept the sum of £7,500 as liability was denied, despite significant injuries including traumatic brain injury. Instructions were transferred to me, and appropriate experts were instructed, including engineers and crash reconstruction experts who had been involved in investigations relating to Princess Diana’s death as well as a Top Gear presenter’s near-fatal crash. The result was settled by high court proceedings with the client receiving in the order of £150,000.
