Why do we support the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL)?

For over 30 years APIL has been fighting for the rights of injured people. It understands that injured people can often be the most vulnerable in society and need help.

Leading the field, APIL is a highly respected, not-for-profit organisation with 3,200 member lawyers who are mostly solicitors, barristers and legal executives. It campaigns for and is dedicated to: –

  • Protecting and enhancing access to justice, and improving services provided to victims of personal injury
  • Campaigning to change the law when appropriate
  • Promoting and developing expertise in the practise of personal injury law
  • Making a difference to the lives of injured people.

The APIL quality mark helps consumers recognise expertise within the profession. Lawyers who are accredited by APIL provide competent and specialist expertise when dealing with personal injury claims. The accreditation scheme demonstrates that an APIL lawyer has achieved a specific standard.

APIL also works with charities that look after people trying to rebuild their lives after injury or bereavement. These charities work hard to persuade the Government and parliamentarians that injured people deserve proper access to justice to help re-build their lives.

Simpkins & Co has long been accredited by APIL. We offer a free initial consultation to discuss your claim. All enquiries are completely confidential and there is no pressure to proceed with a claim. We also do no win, no fee agreements.
