Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA)
The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) are responsible for regulating solicitors and law firms in England and Wales, and non-lawyers who are managers or employees of regulated firms. They ensure that standards are met and upheld, and regulated individuals and firms must comply with these standards in order to be able to practice law. Clients of Simpkins & Co can rest assured that we are members of The Law Society and the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA).
In addition to our membership of The Law Society and the Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA), we hold a number of accreditations in recognition of our specialist expertise.
The Law Society Personal Injury Panel
As a member of the personal injury panel, we have demonstrated a high level of knowledge, skills, experience and practice in the area of personal injury law. We have also demonstrated a commitment to maintaining this high level of knowledge, skills, experience and practice. This accreditation recognises that we have been conducting personal injury cases for claimants or defendants for at least three years. Steven Simpkins, our Principal, has in fact been conducting personal injury compensation cases for 25 years.

Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL)
Simpkins & Co is an accredited member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL). As an accredited personal injury practice, we have fulfilled the seven criteria required of accredited firms. The criteria include requirements relating to client care, supervision and quality assurance.
Our principal solicitor, Steven Simpkins has attained senior litigator status with the organisation. This recognises that he has 25 years of experience, runs cases without supervision and that he can take cases all the way to trial if this is appropriate.
Employment Lawyers Association (ELA)
The Employment Lawyers Association (ELA) has a total of 6,000 specialist employment lawyers as members. As members, we are acknowledged as a firm that practices employment law for 25% or more of our caseload. Spinal Injuries Association (SIA)
Our membership of the Spinal Injuries Association confirms that we are accredited as having successfully handled personal injury claims where the claimant has a spinal cord injury.
